Hawkman #10, page 12 (1965)
The note to the left of panel one says "RED STRAND OF HAIR -- SEE JULIE (SCHWARTZ)." The note to the right of panel two says "RED STRAND." Why? The woman is actually red-haired Hawkgirl in a blonde wig. The red strand was supposed to give her identity away -- but the colorist ignored both instructions! In the printed page, there is NO "red strand."
