MORLOO

ENTER the MORLOO!

The MORLOO debuted in House of Secrets #67
(August 1964), in "Doctor 7's Supernatural Ally," written by Jack Miller, with art by Mort Meskin and George Roussos. In the story, Supernatural sleuth Mark Merlin battles his arch-enemy Doctor 7, who has enlisted the evil aid of a new "supernatural ally" named MORLOO! We pick up the story as Doctor 7 and Morloo confront Mark Merlin...

MORLOO
"OOOYAH!" Hey reader, can you dig it? "OOOYAH!" The Morloo is not exactly what you'd call articulate, but he does have something neither Mark Merlin or Doctor 7 ever had -- his very own, all-purpose catch-phrase! "OOOYAH!"
MORLOO
Unfortunately for our pal Morloo, Mark Merlin always carries some sacred fire wood from the Andes in his pocket. Activated by the strange command "KEETAI! SHURALA! KEETAI!," it flares forth with a mystic fire, terrifying poor Morloo! OOOYAH!
MORLOO
Things get worse for Morloo as Mark Merlin uncorks a flask. "OOOYAH!" Then, for the first time in comic history, the Morloo says something other than just "OOOYAH!"
MORLOO
As Mark delivers a magic "uppercut"... AYEEEE! Morloo is finished!
