IRA SCHNAPP immigrated from Austria to America, and began his career designing postage stamps and carving words into massive stone buildings. In 1938, he joined the staff of DC comics, and turned his talents to creating comic book logos and in-house advertising for DC. Nobody rendered blurbs -- breathless exclamatory ad copy -- better than Ira Schnapp. Today, part seven of our ten-part series on Schnapp, we present a collection of some of Schnapp's best and most bombastic blurbs, on covers and in DC house ads!
