Superman debuted in 1939, and Jerry Lewis was born on March 26, 1929 in Newark, New Jersey. Superman appeared in Action, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, and Lewis appeared in Cinderfella (1960), The Bellboy (1960), .The Caddy, the Nutty Professor (1963), and a zillion other places.

With "Superman" and "Jerry Lewis" comic books both being continuously published by DC for decades, its amazing that it took until Jerry Lewis #105 (March 1968) for the Man of Steel to meet the King of Comedy!

TRIVIA QUESTION: The "Direct Currents" advertising version of this book's cover, seen below, shows cover boy Lex Luthor WITHOUT the beard and mustache he eventually sported on the comic's final cover, seen above. Anyone know why? Oh well... on with the show!
