Actor Frank Gorshin has died at age 72. Gorshin's wife of 48 years, Christina, was at his side when he died Tuesday May 17 in California. Gorshin played "The Riddler" on the Batman TV show. "After I did that," Gorshin recalls, "I became a headliner in Vegas, so I can't put it down." Adam Strange to Lois Lane:
"New super-weapon will devastate Thanagarians"

Adam Strange recently took several question from reporter Lois Lane at a press conference held to encourage support for Rann in the Rann vs. Thanagar war (Chronicled in the current DC mini-series). Here is a transcript of their exchange...

.LOIS LANE: I'm Lois Lane of the Daily Planet, Mr. Strange...

ADAM STRANGE: Ah, yes, Ms. Lane, your legend precedes you! Glad to see you escaped the miniature, evil JLA shown in the cover above my head!

LANE: Errr... thank you. Now -- Mr. Strange, how are you handling the stress of the Rann vs. Thanagar war?

STRANGE: Very well, Lois! In fact, I'm not worried at all. You see, the scientists of Rann have developed an amazing new super-weapon that will totally devastate the Thanagarian army.

LANE: What is this powerful new weapon?

STRANGE: Sorry Lois, but I can't tell you that. Sardath would throw a fit! All I can say is this... we'll be testing the weapon in the next few days, and if all goes well, we should have it in use by next week.

LANE: Why do you think Thanagar is attacking Rann?

STRANGE: But I'm afraid I'm every bit as much in the dark about this as you are! Though perhaps -- one reason may be... to boost sales of comic books!

LANE: Thanks for your time, Adam.

Official "Fantastic Four" movie poster

Click the pic or here to see the "official" Fantastic Four movie poster. The gang's poses are somewhat awkward. They look very "Photoshopped." Did Johnny really have to fly right in-between the group like that? I mean, he is on FIRE, after all. It's too bad there isn't one single existing drawing of the FF posing for the camera that the movie makers could have duplicated. It's even sadder that the REASON there isn't "one single" existing drawing is because there are about 10 billion of them. The movie premieres July 8th.
