MUSCLE & FITNESS MAGAZINE
Ben Grimm, Cover Boy

Here's me, Ben Grimm, with my buddy Michael Chiklis, on the cover of this month's Muscle & Fitness magazine! I was drawn by Joe Ng and Shane. Law. Inside is a three-page article interviewing Michael about his role in the new Fantastic Four movie -- playing ME, the ever-lovin', blue-eyed Thing! Mike says he had psycho-breakdowns about being trapped in the heavy, poorly ventilated Thing suit. Big deal! He should try BEING the Thing for a few hours. That would shut up his complaining ass. Anyway, to the read the whole er, um ... thing ... click the pics for a big version of the entire three-page article! Don't miss the scary full page photo of Chiklis' face. It's so damn close, ya can see his every pore.

THE THING CLOBBERS
It's Clobberin' Time!

Hello, my name's Ben Grimm, and I am a clobber-aholic. Here I am -- clobbering Torchie, the Silver Surfer, and my own team. Do I have a clobbering problem? HELL YEAH! You got a problem wit' dat? (Pictured: Strange Tales #116 by Kirby/Roussous, FF #55 by Kirby/Sinnott, and FF #69, also by Kirby/Sinnott.)

THING vs. HULK
The Madder Hulk Gets...

Thing likes to clobber -- but so does Hulk! And the madder Hulk gets, the STRONGER Hulk gets. And Hulk is PISSED OFF that Thing's movie will probably have a better opening than Hulk's movie did. Never mind. Hulk presents three classic battles Hulk had with Thing, from FF #12 by Kirby/Ayers, FF #25 by Kirby/Roussos, and FF #112 by John Buscema.

ONE OF THE BEST THING STORIES
"This Man... This Monster!"

I ask ya, reader, is that a splash page, or is that a splash page? Look at me! I'm sexy just standing there, all soaking wet and bea-uuutiful! And the rest of this story, from Fantastic Four #51 by Kirby/Sinnott, where a nut takes over my body, is just as good. Dig that crazy Kirby machine! Click the pages if ya want to see a bigger version.

What The Hell?!??!

OK, who's the joker who stuck my Twinkie ad in here? Hulk, if I find out it was you, I'll clobber you so hard you'll NEVER get a sequel! (Click the pic for a big version of the ad!) Art pictured left: Dan Jurgens/Alex Ross

THE THING'S MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENTS
.Thing vs. Man-Thing vs. Thing-Thing

Yeah, I once clobbered the Man-Thing, and they called it "Thing vs. Man-Thing." So what? It's not like I was fighting my own man-thing! And who put that "Giant Sized Man Thing" cover up there? I'm not even IN that book! I had nothing to DO with it! And finally... yeah, I did once fight myself. Who hasn't? Thing battles Thing. Quit laughing. That's it! It's over. I'm pulling the red curtain I'm holding over the whole damn page!
