THE SPECTRE VERSUS THE GHOST WHO HAUNTED MONEY!
U.S. CURRENCY FUN FACTS!
It costs the government 4.2 cents to produce every U.S. currency bill. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing prints about 16,650,000 one dollar bills every day! Most are used to replace worn, older bills (which are shredded). The average dollar bill has a life span of about 18-22 months.
One circle on back (reverse) of the one dollar bill pictures the Great Seal of the United States of America. It shows a bald eagle with a banner in the eagle's bill reading "E PLURIBUS UNUM" ("Out of many, one"). The eagle is holding olive branches (peace) and arrows (war) in its talons. The other circle, on the left, pictures a pyramid. There is an eye within a triangle above the pyramid, and light is radiating from the eye. Hey, Ghost That Haunted Money -- look out! Here comes that very same pyramid!
