Who are Nemesis and Magicman?
Nemesis was once Steve Flint, a government detective who got run over by a train in Adventures into the Unknown #154 (Feb. 1965, pictured left), written by Shane O'Shea (Richard Hughes) and drawn .by Pete Costanza. Later Nemesis tales were drawn by Marvel inker Chic Stone.

After death, Flint’s soul went to “The Unknown,” but like the Spectre, he didn’t really die -- he returned to earth with ghostly super powers, a new uniform with mandatory hood (all dead heroes must wear hoods), and a new name: Nemesis. The .character appeared in Adventures into the Unknown #154 - #171.

Magicman debuted in Forbidden Worlds #125 (Feb. 1965, cover pictured right), by writer Zev Zimmer (Richard Hughes) and Pete Costanza, with later stories by Kurt Schaffenberger. Magicman is Tom Cargill, son of the 18th century wizard Cagliostro.

Cargill served in Vietnam, and when his tour of duty ended he returned to America to use his ill-defined supernatural powers to fight crime as Magicman. Magicman vanished from the covers of Forbidden Worlds with #139, and disappeared altogether with the title’s final issue, #141 (Feb. 1967). And that's all the back story you'll need. Let's get back to the big meeting between Fat Fury, Nemesis and Magicman!
The three stars of the ACG (American Comics Group) meet for the first time ever when Nemesis and Magicman are frozen by the bad guys, and it's Fat Fury to the rescue!
