Robby's favorite Christmas story of all time is titled "Dirty Job." It originally appeared in -- of all places -- Our Army At War #241 (February 1972), cover pictured left. It was .written by Bob Haney, and penciled and inked by the great Alex Toth. "Dirty Job" was also recognized as one of the best stories of the year, and reprinted in .the Best of DC Digest #52, pictured right.

"Dirty Job" is not only my favorite comic book Christmas story, it's also one of my favorite stories of any kind, in any medium. It's incredibly powerful. You will never forget the last page. What's so great about this story? And what was a Christmas story doing in a war comic book?

Read for yourself! Today, DIAL B for BLOG presents the entire story (it's only four pages). Here's "Dirty Job." Merry Christmas reader!
